Coach Ricky, Coach Kevin and Game Ready Intern Dyamond Gooding spent the afternoon packing meals for underprivileged children. Local restaurant Tacos for Life partnered with The Feed My Starving Children Organization to present and incredible event focused on battling world hunger. Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. The event was held in a hangar at the Charlotte motor speedway as volunteers wore hairnets, measured, packed, sealed, labeled, and boxed meals in preparation for shipping. Over 100 volunteers showed up and showed out packing over 500 meals in 2 hours which will feed over 80 children for the whole year! Thanks again to Tacos for Life for allowing us to do a part in the fight against hunger.
