Game Ready Highlight
During the basketball season we like to highlight our clients that are making a difference for their school ball team. This month’s Game Ready Highlight goes again to Taylor Henderson. Taylor is a Junior at Myers Park High School and is in the midst of putting together the best season of her career! Taylor leads the Girls Varsity Team in scoring, rebounding, and steals while averaging 21 points 8.9 rebounds and 3.5 steals and 2 asst. per game. She has been sizzling during the month of January averaging 24.4 points including a career high 34 points vs Independence and crossing the 1000 point career milestone. Most importantly, Myers Park posted a 6-1 record during the same span. Not only has she excelled on the basketball court but she is exceptional in the classroom with a cumulative 3.8 GPA in all Honors classes. Taylor has been training with Game Ready for 5 years including receiving the Lady Baller Award as an 8th grader at our annual Game Ready Summer Basketball Camp. Coach Price gushes about his star pupil’s future. “Taylor has a chance to be a high level D1 college basketball player. She is unstoppable in transition.” Taylor is just another example of what happens when focus meets preparation. Good luck Taylor the rest of the way and remember to shoot 1st and ask questions later.
